Each morning, the cooling mist from Monterey Bay rolls across the valleys of California’s Central Coast. Due to these cool conditions vineyards below this cloud cover undergo a longer growing season, which is perfect for growing Sauvignon Blanc. The finished grapes will be balanced and delicious, perfect for making a good wine. Fog Break is a classic example of this fantastic varietal, rich with fruit and tropical flavors and a crisp, herbal finish. Our experts have loved pairing it with cheeses and oysters, but it goes well with anything fresh!
This Fog Break Sauvignon Blanc was hand harvested in West Lodi, California, an AVA known for its cool Delta influence. Warm days and cool nights help the grapes reach peak maturity. The 2016 harvest provided a lower amount of grapes that were quick to ripen — offering the freshest fruit for a lovely, balanced wine.
This wine is extra fresh with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Light on the palate with clean refreshing acidity, this wine is a great wine to start with. The finish is bright and tart, we can't get enough.
